I just finished cooking for Shabbat and will live blog the women's all around competitions from London, England. Well, I'm not in London. I'm in Clinton Hill. But if you want to watch along with me, go to Universal Sports.
Right now, they are warming up and the commentators are not the usual Tim Daggett/Elfi Schlegel combo from NBC. They are the British commentators. I'm already enjoying their accents. It will help me overlook any stupid they things will inevitably say.

I'm already totally irritated by the announcers (I think the woman is Australian and the dude is English). The woman has started off almost every sentence with the word "definitely". And they have no sense of humor. It makes me realize how much I love the comfortable and familiar voices of Elfie, Tim, et al. They might be repetitive and not give any real insight, but I love them anyway! Bart and Tasha were a close second, and I was actually expecting them this afternoon since they have done past Worlds commentary. Sad.
